At Yavrio, our mission has always been simple: make money move securely in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

For many of you, Yavrio has become synonymous with embedded banking, feeds and payments. We started by connecting organisations directly to their banks, giving finance teams live access to banking data and payment capabilities without relying on file imports, manual processes or disconnected banking portals.

More recently, we expanded our reach into Accounts Receivable with the launch of our embedded Card Payments solution, allowing businesses to collect payments directly from invoices while of course automating reconciliation behind the scenes.

More Than Direct Debit

Direct Debit has long been one of the UK's most trusted payment methods.

More than 5 billion Direct Debit payments are processed through the UK's Bacs network every year (src: Bacs Payment System statistics - Pay.UK), making Direct Debit one of the country's most trusted and widely used payment methods. Organisations rely on it because it is reliable, secure and significantly more cost-effective than many other payment methods

But most businesses have some level of pain in their Direct Debit processing.

Many Direct Debit providers still rely on disconnected portals, manual file transfers and fragmented reporting. Finance teams are forced to switch between multiple systems to create mandates, submit collections, investigate failures and reconcile payments, resulting in unnecessary manual administration, increased operational overhead and valuable time spent on tasks that should be automated.

That's why we built something different.

Yavrio Direct Debit isn't simply a way of submitting Direct Debit collections. It's a fully embedded Direct Debit Management System, built entirely within the Accounts Receivable workflows of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. No separate portals. No disconnected workflows.  

We've designed DDMS around the day-to-day challenges finance teams face when managing customer collections.

The solution includes:

• Electronic Direct Debit mandate creation directly within Business Central, supporting both single and multiple signatories. DDMS also provides complete visibility of all active mandates, including organisations migrating existing mandates from another Direct Debit provider.  

• Comprehensive reporting across mandates, collections, failures and exceptions, giving finance teams complete operational visibility. DDMS also supports the automatic handling of mandate exceptions, allowing suggested changes to be reviewed and applied directly within Business Central.  

• A complete audit trail, enabling users to follow every mandate and every collection throughout its entire lifecycle: from mandate creation and submission through to settlement, reporting and reconciliation.  

• One-click collection processing, allowing users to generate collections against individual invoices or automatically collect all eligible posted invoices for customers with active Direct Debit mandates. Once submitted, collections are automatically posted back into Business Central, updating customer ledger entries without any manual intervention.  

• High-volume bulk collections - one of the features our early customers have been most excited about. Organisations processing thousands - or even tens of thousands - of collections every month can initiate an entire collection run with a single click, without any manual prep or repetitive processing.

Collecting payments is only part of the story.

Reconciling them is often where finance teams spend the most time, with 20 to 50 hours spent monthly on cash reconciliation, after working across multiple disconnected system (source: The state of month-end close in 2025: finance team benchmarks & insights)

Banks typically return an entire Direct Debit collection as a single transaction on the bank statement, even though that transaction may represent hundreds, or thousands, of individual customer payments.

Matching those individual payments back to one bank statement line has traditionally been a manual, time-consuming process.

Because Yavrio manages the entire Direct Debit lifecycle, we can do something different. Our platform automatically links the individual customer ledger entries with the consolidated bank statement transaction, providing end-to-end reconciliation directly within Business Central.
